Our Institutions Overview

A Commitment to Excellence

The Friends Welfare Society of Amravati has established the following educational institutions to serve the Muslim community

Friends English High School & Junior College of Science

Established in 1980 with just one class and 20 students, the school gradually expanded with the addition of a class each year. It now offers classes from KG-I to X and is run on a permanent non-grant basis. The first batch appeared for the S.S.C. exam in 1990.
The College Started in 2008 to provide higher secondary education in the science stream through the English medium.

Friends Urdu Primary School

Started in 1986 with one section of Class I and 55 students, the school expanded due to overwhelming public response.
Currently, there are three sections each from Class I to VII. The school receives grants only for two sections from Class I to VII.

Friends Urdu High School

Established in 2000 in response to demand from students and parents of the primary school. It offers classes from VIII to X. The first S.S.C. batch appeared in 2002.
The school has three sections each from Class I to VII and two sections each for Classes VIII to X. Both sections of Classes VIII, IX, and X are run on a non-grant basis.

Friends English Primary School

The original English school founded in 1980. It grew steadily, adding one class each year, eventually becoming a full school with classes from KG-I to X.

English and computer education are emphasized from early classes. The school provides special coaching in English and ensures computer literacy for all students, teachers, and staff.
